Study Hall College

Study Hall College is a Private college in the Indian city of Lucknow. It was established to make high-quality education available to all, and offer Undergraduate courses in Computer Applications, Commerce, Business Administration, Journalism, Mass Communication, etc. The institution is an integral part of the Study Hall Educational Foundation and is affiliated to the University of Lucknow. Admission is granted to aspiring individuals depending on the merit of the previous year’s qualifying exam. Every year, SHC in collaboration with the Department of State - USA, hosts the English Access Micro scholarship program on its campus for those aspirants who want to study abroad. Under the same initiative, 4 students have received a fully funded community scholarship for pursuing a 1-year Diploma in the United States of America. Further, Study Hall College has maintained strong partnerships with leading media houses, banks, and IT companies including Hindustan Times, TCS, HCL, Kotak, HDFC, and ICICI to ensure youths get the best internships and job opportunities. Highly qualified, and trained faculty teach in the institute and bring with them years of the educational and industrial experience, required for the overall development of individuals. 3 teachers have a Ph.D. degree, and 2 are pursuing it currently.

Events such as Seminars, Guest Lectures, Workshops, Cultural Fests and Competitions, and Sports Tournaments are regularly organized on campus to keep students up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies. Another aim is to ensure everyone can get hands-on exposure, and directly connect with top-notch people for skills enhancement and knowledge sharing. The availability of advanced facilities such as smart Classrooms, a Library, a Laboratory, an Auditorium, and a Canteen on SHC premises has made the lives of students easier by fulfilling their academic and co-curricular requirements on time.

Facilities The SHC has a very big, growth-oriented, and technology-enabled campus with all kinds of required facilities. The overall ambiance is truly suitable for the teaching-learning g process, and the personal and professional growth of both students and faculty members. Meetings, and collaborative sessions that are regularly organized on campus to bring together management people, teachers, and young minds, play a key role in upgrading the educational pedagogies, and infrastructure from time to time. Cited below are the details of the same. Advanced Lecture Halls: The institution has established smart, spacious, and well-ventilated classrooms on its premises. All the lecture halls are equipped with ultra-modern Audio-Visual aids, the latest technologies, multimedia projectors, and the Internet. The seating arrangement is also very comfortable. The end goal is to assist teachers in smoothly delivering course content using PPTs, PDFs, Pre-recorded Videos, and innovative teaching pedagogies so that students understand even the most complex topics lucidly. Library: This facility has been developed to inculcate much-needed reading habits in students, support teachers in their research work, and enhance everyone’s knowledge through additional learning sources. The Library has a vast collection of textbooks, reference books, National/International journals, Magazines, and Newspapers, research papers, previous year's papers along with amazing seating arrangements. Cafeteria: An amazing Canteen also exists on the college campus to offer delicious, highly nutritious, and freshly prepared food items and snacks to both students and staff members at a reasonable price. The place has a very positive, and aesthetic appeal, due to which students regularly come here after their classes to have informal chit-chat with their classmates and seniors. Auditorium: A world-class, and avant-garde Auditorium has been built in the college, to seamlessly organize events and activities such as seminars, guest lectures, cultural fests, and department functions from time to time in collaboration with experts. All facilities ranging from audio-visual equipment, to the latest public addressing system, LCD projectors, and slide projectors are available here. Communication Center: The key objective of this center is to strengthen the reading/writing, hard and soft communication skills of students. Activities like Extempore, Debates, and Personality Enhancement Training Sessions are conducted here regularly for the same purpose.
